McConnell, Sharon D., 60, of New Martinsville, WV died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Sistersville Center.

Sharon was born October 30, 1954 in New Martinsville, WV daughter of the late Howard D. Woodburn and Violet M. Loy Woodburn Huggins.

She was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Baptist Church in New Martinsville. Sharon appreciated all of those who visited her at the center and looked forward to them, so thank you all who helped make her days there better.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Jerry" McConnell (2013).

Surviving are her son, Edwin "Scott" McConnell of New Martinsville, WV; granddaughter, Kianna McConnell of Wilkesboro, NC; step-granddaughter, Kelly Gibson of VA and many other family members.

Friends received 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, WV with Pastor Chris McGinnis officiating. Due to the expected inclement weather committal service will be conducted at the funeral home.

Interment in Potts Cemetery in Long Valley, Wetzel County, WV.
