Obituary for Joan Marie "Joanie" Nice
Joan “Joanie” Marie Nice, 52, of Wheeling, WV left this world on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home.
Joanie was born June 27, 1970 in Athens, OH daughter of the late Kenneth D. and Sharon J. (Walters) Nice.
She was a former CNA, a Poet, enjoyed singing, dancing and making people laugh and member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy “Yogi” Yoho.
Surviving are her two daughters, Tori Highley of New Martinsville, WV and Emma Jade Gille of Woodsfield, OH; sister, Julia Nice of Spring Lake, NC; three brothers, “Rusty” (Jannie) Nice of Pine Grove, WV, Jeffrey (Mary) Nice of Marysville, TN and Jay Nice of Moundsville, WV; three grandchildren, Honey Marie, Zoey and Serenity and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 1-4 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
