Obituary for Geraldine L. "Gerry" Haught (Anderson)
Geraldine “Gerry” L. Haught, 80, of Reader, WV left this world on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 while at her home.
Gerry was born August 2, 1942, in Reader, WV daughter of the late Dewey and Pearl (Brock) Anderson.
She was a homemaker, loved bowling, watching game shows, wrestling, avid fan of the Steelers and Mountaineer football and member of the First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, James “Frank” Haught, Sr.; son, James Franklin Haught, Jr.; eight brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are her five children, Carol Haught of New Martinsville, WV, Dean (Heather) Haught of Harpers Ferry, WV, Lori (Steve) Gill of Oakhill, WV, Donna Williams of Reader, WV and Lisa (Randy) Phillis of New Kensington, PA; two sisters, Irene Duke of Hannibal, OH and Ilene Raber of New Martinsville, WV; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her canine buddy, Bear and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4-8 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023 with Jerry Kuhens officiating. Burial to follow in the Milburn Cemetery near Reader, WV.
