Obituary for Weldon Griffith
Weldon Griffith, 81, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, May 23, 2022 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Weldon was born December 5, 1940 in Glen Rogers, WV son of the late Weldon Elias and Ruth (Belcher) Griffith.
He was a retired coalminer, loved working on cars and was a Baptist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Griffith.
Surviving are his two sons, Greg (Cathy) Griffith of New Martinsville, WV and Kenny Griffith of Charleston, SC; brother, Gary (Lynn) Griffith of Byron, GA; two sisters, Phyllis Ann Trump and Drema Sue (Everett) Kenner both of Fair Dale, WV and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Weldon’s request there will be only graveside services at the Griffith Allen Cemetery to be held at the convenience of the family.
