Obituary for Wilda Lucille Williams (Haught)
Wilda Lucille Williams, 79, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Reader, WV passed at her home on Monday, March 21, 2022.
Wilda was born April 6, 1942 in Reader, WV daughter of the late James W. and Onda Gay (South) Haught.
She was a homemaker, former member of the Priscilla Rebekah Lodge #296 and member of First Baptist Church and for the last two years has been attending, via Zoom, the Bridge Street Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Williams; four siblings, Roxie Bucher, Doris “Susie” Haught, James F. Haught and Robert “Bob” Haught and sister-in-law, Patricia Haught.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Bobby Williams; son, Anthony “Tony” Williams of New Martinsville, WV; daughter, Lisa (Jim) Rice of New Martinsville, WV; two grandsons, Justin and Joshua Rice; four brothers, Carl (Lucille) Haught of Reader, WV, Dave Haught of Pine Grove, WV, Tom (Betty) Haught and Gordon Haught both of Reader, WV; two sisters-in law, Geraldine Haught and Clara Haught both of Reader, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4-8 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022. Burial to follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the First Baptist Church or the Bridge Street Church of Christ.
