Obituary for Anna "Janie" Jane Tennant (Edgell)
Anna Jane Tennant, 85, of Reader, WV went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 while at Genesis New Martinsville.
Jane was born August 28, 1936 in Reader, WV daughter of the late James D. and Hazel (Chaplin) Edgell.
She was a homemaker, loved to decorate and a member of the Reader Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters, Cynthia Dennis and Beth Ann Spaziani; siblings, Edward Edgell, Robert Edgell, Phillip Edgell, William Edgell, Dewey Edgell, Dudley Edgell, Joe Edgell, Larry Edgell, Helen Brown, Wanda Briggs, Blondell McAllister and Pearl Briggs.
Surviving are her husband of sixty-five years, Forrest “Shorty” Tennant; son, Brad Tennant of New Martinsville, WV; grandchildren, Heath (Leslie) Tennant of Reader, WV, Doni (Shawn) Zoladz of St. Clairsville, OH, Heidi (Aaron) Blum of Pittsburgh, PA, Aimee McQullian of Windsor Heights, WV, Savannah (Ronnie) Leggett of Brentwood, PA and Asa Spaziani of Marietta, OH; great grandchildren, Logan, Lincoln, Landon, Scarlett, Remi, Tilli, Ada, Archer, Vale and Tim; sister, Faye Bonder of Youngstown, OH; son-in-law, Peter Spaziani of Marietta, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2021. Burial to follow in the Lantz Cemetery in Reader, WV.
