Obituary for Jerry Keith "Jake" Nolan
Jerry “Jake” Keith Nolan, 82, of Wileyville, WV formerly of Pine Grove, WV went to be with his Savior, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 while at Wheeling Hospital.
Jake was born August 2, 1938 in Pine Grove, WV; son of the late Virginia Imogene Nolan.
He was a retired inside laborer for Consol Coal Mine, served his country in the Coast Guard and the Army Reserve, member of the Pine Grove Senior Citizens and Pine Grove Church of Christ.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Nolan and brother-in-law, Reed McFrederick.
Surviving are his wife of forty-seven years, Janice (Byard) Nolan; two daughters, Charity (Michael) Cogar of Pine Grove, WV and Delta Dawn Nolan of Wileyville, WV; sister, Sandra McFrederick of Jerusalem, OH; sister-in-law, Linda Nolan of Grantown, WV; two grandchildren, Jordan Cogar and Micha Cogar and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 4-6 Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021. Burial to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
