Obituary for Mary Ann Burr (Powell)
Mary Ann Burr, 77, of Pricetown, WV died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her family.
Mary Ann was born March 12, 1943 in Pricetown, WV; daughter of the late Charles J. and Ellen (Smith) Powell.
She was a retired school bus operator with Wetzel County Schools for twenty-seven years, an avid QVC shopper, enjoyed canning, loved children and is a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-eight years, Thomas Burr; two sons, John (Cathy) Burr of Middlebourne, WV and Dave Burr of Smithfield, WV; daughter, Margie Burr-Ice of Chatsworth, GA; three grandchildren, Michael (Merriah) Burr, Levi (Alexus) Ice and Jake (Chelsey) Ice; three great grandchildren, Oakley, Stryker and Grayson.
Friends received 3-7 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, where services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020 with Greg Morris officiating. Burial to follow in Mannington Memorial Park near Mannington, WV.
