Obituary for Daisy Mae Kendall (Tennant)
Daisy Mae Kendall, 76, of Reader, WV went to meet her Lord on Monday, September 14, 2020 while at Genesis New Martinsville.
Daisy was born June 27, 1944 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late Charles Ford and Goldie Catherine (Myers) Tennant.
She was a retired payroll clerk for Mobay, previously she was employed at PPG, she enjoyed visiting Bob Evan’s, traveling and the beach and she was a member of the Reader Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace “Wally” Kendall; four brothers, William Tennant, Joseph Tennant, Robert Tennant and Frank Tennant.
Surviving are her brother, Jim (Corinna) Tennant of Reader, WV; six sisters, Mary King of Hepzibah, WV, Martha (Pat) Glasscock of Reader, WV, Clara Eastham of Middlebourne, WV, Lou (Bob) Shreves of Eight Mile Ridge, WV, Blanche (Dick) Ferrell of Middlebourne, WV and Carol Sue Bell of Morgantown, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friend received 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV where services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2020 with Rick Tincher officiating. Burial to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery near Hastings, WV.
