Obituary for "Cyndi" Cynthia Lynn Dennis (Tennant)
Cynthia “Cyndi” Lynn (Tennant) Dennis, age 63, of New Martinsville, WV and Hannibal, Ohio, died peacefully on April 1, 2020, at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, in Moundsville, WV, with her loving daughter, Doni, by her side.
She was born February 17, 1957 in New Martinsville, WV, to Forrest L. Tennant and Anna Jane (Edgell) of Reader, WV; they survive her. Cyndi was also a member of the Steelton Church of Christ, and a graduate of Valley High School in Pine Grove, WV.
Cyndi served in the United States Army-Rank of E4 from 1978-1981, receiving an AAS in Accounting. She worked for the Wetzel County Family Resource Network, 2 terms; LVER Workforce WV from 1992-2012. In 2013, she moved to WV Department of Arts, Culture, and History at the Grave Creek Mound until she retired March 2014, to enroll into the Artisan School of Cosmetology. She was the owner of Tips-N-Toes from 2014-2018. She loved ceramics, making cards, crafting, and spending time with her granddaughters, whom she called the “Wee Zee 3”.
In addition to her parents, Cyndi is also survived by her daughter Doni Lynn (Shawn) Zoladz, of Saint Clairsville, OH, 3 granddaughters, Remi, Tilli, and Ada; and her brother Brad Tennant, of New Martinsville, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 2019, and her sister Beth Ann (Spaziani) in 2020.
A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be announced at a later date.
