Obituary for Devon Keith Starkey
Devon Keith Starkey, 28, of Pine Grove, WV passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at his home.
Due to the concerns of the Corona Virus around the world and the CDC guidelines we ask that anyone attending the visitation please come in and pay your respects and then exit the building. There is a limit of ten people in the building at any given time. Friends and extended family members are welcome to visit outside of the building. The family appreciates your love for Devon, but they also want to be fair to everyone who wants to pay their respects. Please be respectful.
Devon was born December 18, 1991 in Glen Dale, WV; son of Madelyn “Elfie” (Snellings) Mayfield of Wellsburg, WV and Brian (Becky) Starkey of Porters Falls.
He was an employee of A.J. Lawn Care, graduate of Valley High School Class of 2010 and he loved drawing, hunting, fishing and visiting with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his step-dad, Randall Mayfield of Pine Grove, WV; four brothers, Clifford (Toni) Mayfield of Wheeling, WV, Edward Mayfield of Wellsburg, WV, Matthew Starkey of Porters Falls, WV and Jason Hendershot of Paden City, WV; sister, Kathrene Wetzel of Reader, WV; two nieces, Chaelynn and Allie Headley and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends received 2-8 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions will be used to help with the expense of the funeral. Please make donations to Williams Funeral Home, PO Box 336, Pine Grove, WV 26419.
