Obituary for Betty Louise Hayhurst (Bissett)
Betty L. Hayhurst, 90, of Folsom, WV died Thursday, February 20, 2020 while at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV.
Betty was born October 25, 1929 in New Martinsville, WV; daughter of the late John and Pauline (Starkey) Bissett.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed quilting, yard work, painting and traveling. Betty was a member of the Folsom Pentecostal Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hayhurst; brother, Johnny Bissett and sister, Behula Weeks.
Surviving are her son, Darrell (Dianna) Hayhurst of Folsom, WV; two daughters, Kathy (Jimmy) Fenton of Brown, WV and Carol (Kevin) Cunningham of Reader, WV; sister, June Davis of Clarksburg, WV; sister-in-law, Marilyn Tallman of Savannah, GA; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-6 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2020 with Pastor Gary Dennison officiating.
Burial in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
