Obituary for Ronald James Morris
Ronald J. Morris, 75, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Reader, WV passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 25, 2019 while at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.
Ronald was born August 25, 1944 in Endicott, WV; son of the late John W. and Gladys (Williams) Morris.
He was a proud member of the Labors Union #1149, a proud U.S. Navy veteran having served in Vietnam and his children and grandchildren were his life.
Surviving are his wife, Ida (Brown) Morris; son, Ronald J. Morris, II of New Martinsville, WV; three daughters, Ava Morris-Dowell and her husband, Chris, Ruby Morris and Lily Morris and her fiancée, Tyler Williams all of Fairmont, WV and the two sparkles of his life his grandchildren, Abrie and Oliver.
At Ron’s request there were no services. Interment in the Furbee Cemetery on Furbee Ridge at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Ron’s name, to the charity of the donor’s choice.
