Obituary for Myrtle Crease Wildman (Ater)

Myrtle Wildman, 67, of Pine Grove, WV lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 while at Wetzel County Hospital.

Myrtle was born July 15, 1952 in Wileyville, WV; daughter of the late Enos Asbury and Delia Florence (Greathouse) Ater.

She was a homemaker, had worked as a CNA at New Martinsville, Sistersville and Fairmont nursing homes, loved her family, enjoyed watching and feeding wildlife and a Baptist.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Clyde Ater, Candy Nolan, Jane Leasure, Wilma Derby and infant brother Enos Ater.

Surviving are her husband of forty-four years, Kenneth “Buster” Wildman; two daughters, Lori (Jim Yoho) Wildman of Big Run, WV and Jennifer (Jim Steward) Wildman of Pine Grove, WV; two brothers, Glen Ater of Wileyville, WV and Henry Ater of Wilmington, OH; four sisters, Nelda Nolan of Middlebourne, WV, Sue Ater of Wileyville, WV, Bonnie (Roy) Rogers of Pine Grove, WV and Mary Ann “Tiny” Ater of Wilmington, OH; four grandchildren, J.D., Davona, Devon and Casey and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 with Pastor Leroy Haught officiating. Burial to follow in Wadsworth-Wildman Cemetery near Pine Grove, WV.
