Obituary for Charles Elmer "Charlie" Roberts Jr.
Charles E. Roberts, Jr., 72, of Pine Grove, WV died peacefully at his home on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Charlie was born March 8, 1947 in Pine Grove, WV; son of the late Charles and Lula Mae (Hawkins) Roberts, Sr.
He was a retired labor for the Labors Union working mainly on the stacks, enjoyed coon hunting and member of the Church of God Independent in Pine Grove, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Bobby Roberts and sister, Dyanne Richey.
Surviving are his wife of sixteen years, Loretta (Floyd) Roberts; two sons, Charles (Cindy) Roberts, III of Pine Grove, WV and Jason (Kori) Roberts of Ohio; three step daughters, Jamie (Jonathan) Shaw of Wheeling, WV, Lucy (Leo) Thompson of Weirton, WV and Missy (Tim) White of Pine Grove, WV; two step-sons, Danny (Collette) Streets of Pine Grove, WV and Tim Streets of New Martinsville, WV; two brothers, Greg (Joyce) Roberts of East Liverpool, OH and Rick (Terry) Roberts of Reader, WV; sister, Nancy Robinson of New Martinsville, WV; seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 1:30 – 4 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Church of God Independent in Pine Grove. Burial to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery near Hastings, WV.
