Obituary for Peggy Jo Lancaster (Haught)
Peggy Jo Lancaster, 86, of Reader, WV died Monday, May 6, 2019 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Peggy was born March 26, 1933 on Furbee Ridge near Reader, WV; daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel (Burgess) Haught.
She was a retired clerk for Simon’s Market with over fifteen years and member of the Reader Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Toy Lancaster; six siblings, Lee, Richard, Phillip, Lenora, Mary Lou and Wanda Sue and two great grandchildren, Gavin and Emmalyn Ash.
Surviving are her four sons, Clarence (Carol Jean) Lancaster of Reader, WV, Steve (Lu Ann) Lancaster of Pine Grove, WV, David (Debbie) Lancaster of Reader, WV and “Dick” (Rhonda) Lancaster of Antioch, OH; eleven grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 3-7 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove where services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 with Rick Tincher officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
