Howard Dean Cork
Howard Dean Cork, 75, of Pine Grove, WV died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Howard was born September 18, 1942 in Hundred, WV; son of the late Warner and Dorothy (Henderson) Cork.

He was a retired pot room worker for the former Conalco, owned Cork’s Studio for twenty-five years, a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict; former owner of the Christian Bookstore The Lighthouse ; enjoyed the outdoors, within the past twenty years rappelled off of the New River Gorge bridge and member of the Chapel of Victory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Carolyn Fetty Cork; step-mother, Lucille Cork; brother and sister in law, Larry & Penny Cork; sister in law, Barbara Brookover Cork, brother in law, Wayne Lee Fetty and granddaughter, Samantha Jan Tajwall.

Surviving are his daughter, Shana (Ahmad Tajwall) Loy; granddaughter, Kayla Jean (Tim) Yoos; grandson, Benjamin Dean Tajwall; two brothers, Alan (Beth) Cork and Tom (Debbie) Bobblet; two sisters, Cathy (Bob) Hayhurst and Kay (Arthur) Helmick; sister in law, Nancy Fetty and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove where service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018 with Joanne Chapple officiating.

Burial to follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.

Honor Guard to conduct graveside services.
