Long, Florence A. Willey Rice, 92 of Reader, WV died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Wetzel County Hospital.

Florence was born October 5, 1917 in Rock Camp, Wetzel County, WV the daughter of the late Jim and Susan Yost Willey.

She was a homemaker and wife, care giver for many years at Florence Rice Nursing Home in Coburn, WV, and was a member of Eight Mile Church of Christ and Higgins Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Edwin C. Rice, Sr. and Lester "Dick" F. Long; son, Jerry Dale Rice; two daughters, Kathy Rice and Louise Rice Goodrich.; five brothers and five sisters.

Surviving are nine children, Tommy Rice of Clarksburg, WV, Earl (Angie) Rice of Woodsfield, OH, Carl (Debbie) Rice of Burton, WV, Donald (Vickie) Rice of Clarksburg, WV, Shirley Titus of Big Run, WV, Doris (Herman) Moore of Spokane, Missouri, Lola (George) Sapp of Big Run, WV, Patricia (Homer) Hostuttler of Knob Fork, WV, Charlene (Bill) Williams of Pine Grove, WV, Carol (Jim) Allen of New Martinsville, WV; sister, Flossie Miller of Millford, OH; thirty-five grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends received 2-8 Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove, WV where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010 with Mike Miller and David Lively co-officiating.

Interment in Mannington Memorial Park in Mannington, WV.
