Obituary for James K "Jimmy" Eastham II

James K "Jimmy"  Eastham II
James “Jimmy” K. Eastham, II, 71, of Reader, WV departed this life Sunday, July 22, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

He was born February 2, 1947; son of the late James and Flossie (Coen) Eastham.

Jimmy was a former employee of PPG. A graduate of Valley High School Class of 1965. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Germany. He loved his animals, especially Doodles, camping and fishing with family and friends. A member of the Eight Mile Ridge Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Mary Hazel Fisher; three nephews, Terry Glenn Martin, Bert David Nolan II and Karson Eastham; four brother-in-laws, Bert David Nolan, Sr., Terry Martin, Charles Daniel Fisher and Douglas F. Morgan and sister-in-law, Joetta Barker Eastham.

He is survived by seven siblings, Harry (Shirley) Eastham of Reader, WV, Eathel Nolan of Reader, WV, Peggy Martin of Pine Grove, WV, Judy Morgan of Mannington, Thelma (Ray) Ice of Reader, WV, Donna (Duane) Barker of Pine Grove, WV and Greg (Mindy) Eastham of Reader, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV; where service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Interment to follow in Milburn Cemetery in Reader, WV.

The Honor Guard will conduct military service.

The family would like to thank the staff of River Park Medical Center and St. Mary’s Hospital for the excellent care given to our brother.
