Kenneth Howard Wright, 88, of Jacksonburg, WV died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 while at Wetzel County Hospital.

Kenny was born March 5, 1929 in Curtisville, Marion County, WV son of the late Clarence Dewey and Ida Margaret (Floyd) Wright.

He was a former road grader for WV State Road Commission, drove school bus for Wetzel County Schools, retired from the former Ormet in the pot and rod room, loved running the roads, visiting his grandchildren and friends, watching wrestling on TV. and working puzzle books and was baptized Baptists.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Floreine (Hendershot) Wright; great grandson, Matthew Haught; three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his daughter, Connie Wright of Jacksonburg, WV; three sons, Kenny (Melanie) Wright of Paden City, WV, Bill (Donna) Wright of Clarksburg, WV and Ralph (Patricia) Wright of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Jessi Wright, Marie Haught, Billy Wright and Dakota Wright; great grandchildren, Kenneth, McKensie, Colton, Cason and has one due in December and several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A special thank you from the family to the many neighbors who helped Kenny over the years.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017.

Interment to follow in the Schultz Cemetery on Richwood Run Road near Jacksonburg, WV.
