Obituary for Betty Lou Adams (Pittman)

Betty Lou  Adams (Pittman)
Betty L. Adams, 82, of Middlebourne, WV died April 4, 2017 at her home.

Betty was born September 18, 1934 on Eight Mile Ridge, WV; daughter of the late Moses Oliver and Ella Florence (Rush) Pittman.

She was a homemaker, sitting with elderly people in her later years and member of the Iuka Church of Christ for over thirty years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Virginia Booth, Mildred Richmond, Wilma Hoffman and Louise Jones; seven brothers, Earl Pittman, John Pittman, Thomas Pittman, Herman Pittman, Roy Pittman, Guy Morgan and Francis Pittman.

Surviving are two sons, Randy (Cindy) Adams of New Martinsville, WV and Rodney (Cindy) Adams of Middlebourne, WV; sister, Anna Lee (Paul) Conway of New Martinsville, WV; four grandchildren, Kayla Adams, Austin Adams, Cody Adams and Timothy Adams.

Friends received 4-7 p.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, where service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Betty’s name, to Tyler County Senior Citizens Center, 504 Cherry St., Middlebourne, WV 26149.
