Obituary for Sarah Virginia "Beth" Cummins (Cummins)
Sarah Virginia Cummins, 86, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Wheeling, WV died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Genesis New Martinsville.
Sarah was born September 17, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Joseph Edward Stanley and Bertha May (Mitchell) Cummins. Joseph and Bertha had two other daughters, Francis Cummins Pfab and Susan Cummins Pace.
She was a seamstress for the former Stone and Thomas store in Wheeling, loved to sew and graduated from the Louise Sallinger Dress Designing School in Pittsburgh, PA, and was a Methodist.
Surviving are two sons, Dwayne Cummins of Wheeling, WV and David Cummins.
Friends received 2 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016 until time of service at 4 p.m., at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove, WV.
Interment in Palmer Cemetery in Proctor, WV at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Sarah's name, to Wetzel County Hospital Fund, Upper Ohio Valley Community Foundation, 1310 Market St. Suite #1, Wheeling, WV 26003.
