Garold “Raymond” Rice, 75, of Pine Grove, WV passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Sistersville Hospital.

Raymond was born March 27, 1940 in Big Run, WV, son of the late Fred Rice and Ada (Davis) Rice Long.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Lemley and brother, Gary Rice.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-five years, Shirley (Anderson) Rice; son, Garold “Jeff” (Donnah) Rice of Pine Grove, WV; granddaughter, Heather (Travis) Hamm of Davis, WV; great grandson, Jayden Hamm of Davis, WV; four brothers, Ronnie (Margaret) Rice of Dayton, OH, Jim (Marty) Rice of Millersburg, OH, Sunny Rice of Shreve, OH and Robert “Bobby” Rice of East Palestine, OH; sister, Janet (Eugene) Hurst of Leetonia, OH; stepfather, Bob (Wendy) Long of Wooster, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove where services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 with Pastor Wayne Cooper officiating.

Interment to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
