Cecil E.  McDiffitt
Cecil E. McDiffitt, 80, of Reader, WV went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, February 21, 2016 while at Wheeling Hospital.

Cecil was born December 27, 1935 in Hastings, WV, son of the late Forrest John and Lillian Opal (Henthorne) McDiffitt.

He was the founder and former owner of McDiffitt Pipe, Inc., retired welder from Conalco and member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Reader.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Avis McDiffitt (2005); granddaughter, Ariel Bradley; brother, Forrest J. McDiffitt, Jr. and three sisters, Maxine Dobrin, Doris Tuttle and Sandy Phillips.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy (Tammy) McDiffitt of Porters Falls, WV and Mike McDiffitt of New Martinsville, WV; three daughters, Karen (James) Dulaney of Big Run, WV, Janet (Jay) Slider of Paden City, WV and Diana McDiffitt of Reader, WV; three brothers, Norman (Helen) McDiffitt of Brilliant, OH, Charles (Carolyn) McDiffitt of South Carolina and Gary (Nora) McDiffitt of Pine Grove, WV; two sisters, Mary Pegg and Joyce (Bob) Cain both of Glenville, WV; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Chris and Brett Dulaney, Anthony McDiffitt, Whitney (Greg) Gump, David (Molly Dennison) McDiffitt and Merideth McDiffitt and Carlyn and Trey Slider; four great grandchildren, Brittany, Jamie III, Brenden and Aubrey and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Reader..

Interment to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
