Jon “Tommy Peters” T. Stearns, Sr., 64, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Paden City, WV died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at home.

“Tom” was born February 5, 1951 in Marietta, OH son of the late Ruth Ash (Peters) Stearns.

He was a dishwasher for the former Po Boy Restaurant, he loved cutting grass, walking, riding a bike and fishing.

Surviving are two sons, John Wayne Stearns and Jon Thomas Stearns, Jr. both of New Martinsville, WV; half brother, Steve Stackhouse of Columbus, OH and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends received 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Steelton Church of Christ, 69 E Thistle Dr., New Martinsville, WV with Ed Melott officiating.

Interment to follow in Middlebourne Cemetery in Middlebourne, WV.
