Obituary for Wilma L. Haught (Dawson)

Wilma Haught, 71, of Reader, WV went to be with her Lord, Sunday, December 13, 2015 while at Genesis New Martinsville.

Wilma was born January 16, 1944 in Wetzel County, WV daughter of the late Wilbur Guy and Marry Nettie (Highley) Dawson.

She was a retired laborer with Labor’s Union Local 1149, member of Shortline Lion’s Club and member of the Reader Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Amos, Sr.; son Floyd Amos, Jr.; siblings, Betty, Lillian, Joe, Freda Mae, Wanda and Janet.

Surviving are her husband of forty years, JB Haught; son, Charlie (Suzi) Amos of Pine Grove, WV; daughter, Patty (Dale Brown) Tennant of Reader, WV; three brothers, Clair “CP” Dawson of Porters Falls, WV, Braxton Dawson of Reader, WV and Don Dawson of Porters Falls, WV; four grandchildren, Christopher Amos, Aimee McQuillian, Savannah Tennant and Autumn Amos; two great grandchildren, Timothy McQuillian and Kody Barrett and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Hwy, Pine Grove, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2015 with Don Kline officiating.

Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV.
