Obituary for Charles Henry Weekley

Weekley, C. Henry, 79, of Pine Grove, WV died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV.

Henry was born September 7, 1935 in Reader, WV son of the late Ulysses and Lula (Sovil) Weekley.

He was a retired night custodial foreman for the Hillsboro Middle School in Hillsboro, NJ, was a logger for many years, loved woodworking and building things, for a time even enjoyed being a chicken farmer and baptized at the Fleming Assemble of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Alan Dale Weekley and three brothers, Roman "Bill" Weekley, Melvin Weekley and Ross Weekley.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Mary (Willis) Weekley; son, Robert (Donna) Weekley of Pine Grove, WV; daughter, Sarah Weekley of New Martinsville, WV; two sisters, Fred (Benjamin) Dilly of Bethlehem, PA and Violet Bassett of Reader, WV and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 5-8 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove where service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014 with Pastor David Kelly officiating.

Interment to follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
