The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sheila Friend can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Laura Tallman Friend
Condolence: To Sheila's family. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Sheila in school and then worked with her mother for several years at Sistersville Hospital. Sheila was a dear person and I always enjoyed talking to her. We always found it interesting that we married men with the same last name. I hadn't seen or heard from Sheila in some time and then spoke with her not long ago on Facebook. It was nice to reconnect and I found her as delightful as she had ever been. I had no idea she was ill and am sorry I didn't keep in better touch with her. You have my heartfelt sympathy and my wish your memories will carry you through this difficult time.

Condolence: Dear Ones --
It was indeed a blessing to visit with you and Sheila, and to share the music and prayer that I hope were each a source of comfort in the midst of your anticipatory grief.
And now, may God's peace and blessings be yours during this most tender season; and, may He give you many lovely memories, so that you may always have roses in December.

Ever hoping . . .
Always in Jesus,
Maryann (Music Ministry Volunteer)
