McDaniels, Dale R., 55, of Pine Grove, WV died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV.

Dale was born July 3, 1959 in Flemington, NJ, son of the late Richard and Bertha (Hendershot) McDaniels.

He loved taking his sons fishing, working on cars and riding four-wheelers and he was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Shawna (Price) McDaniels in 2012.

Surviving are two sons, Scotty Price and Dale McDaniels both of Pine Grove, WV; mother-in-law, Nadie Price; five brothers, Richard McDaniels, Dennis McDaniels, Charlie McDaniels, Roy McDaniels and Andrew McDaniels; four sisters, Phyllis Allen, Linda French, Billie McDaniels and Maggie McDaniels and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends received 5-8 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home in Pine Grove. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Leary VanHorn officiating.

Interment to follow in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.

Scotty and Dale are asking that memorial contributions be made to Williams Funeral Home, PO Box 336, Pine Grove WV to help cover their Dad's funeral expenses.
