Clarence Earl  Balwanz
Balwanz, Clarence Earl, 88, of Reader, WV went home to his Lord Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his home.

Clarence was born September 12, 1925 on Brock Ridge Road in Wetzel County, West Virginia son of the late Henry and Lenora Briggs Balwanz.

He was a retired rural route carrier for the postal service, U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII; loved working on the farm, wood working and his family and a member of the Piney Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Balwanz; an infant brother, John Balwanz and brother, Hughie Balwanz.

Surviving are son, Wayne (Brenda) Balwanz and daughter, Dianne (Denny) Howell both of Reader, WV; six grandchildren, Eric, David, Jason, Amanda, Justin and Tracy; eight great grandchildren, Parker, Ellie, Grace, Gabby, Camden, Conner, Adalyn and Mavis; three sisters, Dorothy (Harold) Snider and Kay Martin both of New Cumberland, WV and Mary Jenkins of New Martinsville, WV and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove, WV where service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014 with Tim Fleeman officiating.

Interment to follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
