Obituary for Walter Nicholas ""Nick"" Norris
Norris, Walter "Nick", 69, of Pine Grove, WV went to be with his Lord Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
Nick was born March 6, 1944 in Gypsy, WV son of the late Walter Junior and Bertha "Jackie" Fiber Norris.
He was a retired employee of the former Viking Glass Co, loved raising tomatoes, hunting, fishing, making rings out of stainless steel and working on automobiles and he attended the Lowman Baptist Church
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cheyann Price
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Jeanie Norris; two sons, Nick (Kathy) Norris of New Martinsville, WV and Melvin Norris of Pine Grove, WV; two daughters, Tina (Donnie) Harrison and Ilah (Ryan) Sayer both of Pine Grove, WV; three sisters, Stella (Richard) Postlethwait, Debbie (Roger) Blake and Judie Goudy all of New Martinsville, WV; seven grandchildren, Jackie (Nathan) Johnson, Donnie Harrison, Jr., Cody Norris, Caleb Norris, Emily Cain, Melanie Norris and Trenton Sayer; two great granddaughters, Elizabeth Johnson and Kaylee Norris and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove, WV where service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2014 with Pastor Wayne Cooper officiating.
Interment in Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Nick's name, to Journey Hospice, 314 S Wells St., Sistersville, WV 26175
