Pyles, Garnet I., 88, of New Martinsville, WV formerly of Pine Grove, WV died Saturday, November 1, 2008 in New Martinsville Health Care Center.
Garnet was born October 6, 1920 in Wileyville, WV the daughter of the late James Walter and Lulu Ivy Poole Lemasters.
She was a member of the New Martinsville Homemaker’s Club, volunteered and past President of the New Martinsville Senior Citizens Center, retired after 20 years from the housekeeping department of Wetzel County Hospital and a member of the Steelton Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Pyles (1998); daughter, Donna Westen (1990); two brothers, Ordie Lemasters and Atley Ray Lemasters and son-in-law, Terry Cain (2008).
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Kemp and her husband, David of Paden City, WV; Carol Cain of Middlebourne, WV; five grandchildren, Alicia Jenkins and her husband, Rick, Michael Kemp, Erica Thomas and her husband, Tony, Jessica Livingston and Rebecca Livingston; three great grandchildren, Dylan Jenkins, Clayton and McKenzie Thomas and a sister, Edith Culp of New Martinsville, WV.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Williams Funeral Home, Pine Grove where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008 with Edward Melott officiating.
Interment Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City, WV.
