Obituary for John L Anderson
Anderson, John L., 65, of Wileyville, WV died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV.
John was born January 5, 1946 in Pine Grove, WV son of the late Chalmer Harold and Chloe Genova King Anderson.
John loved listening to country music, watching the History and Discovery channels, visiting with friends and neighbors that stopped at the store in Wileyville and he was a Protestant by faith.
Surviving are two sons, John L. Anderson, Jr. of West Virginia and Jason Fisher of Ohio; daughter, Julie Conley of Pine Grove, WV; step-daughter, Lisa (Hecter) Madera of Ohio; brother, George Anderson of Smithfield, WV; three sisters, Dolly (Robert) Starkie of Weirton, WV, Doris (“Farmer”) Carpenter and Shirley (Raymond) Rice both of Pine Grove, WV; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at the Williams Funeral Home, 226 N SR 20, Pine Grove, WV where funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 with Pastor Wayne Cooper officiating.
Interment in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Hastings, WV.
